Sisbow Asrat is a Program Manager, Senior Trainer, and Coach at Lead Beyond, with a strong track record in leadership development and organizational transformation across Ethiopia’s NGO, Private, and government sectors. Since 2021, he has designed and delivered capacity-building programs tailored to enhance leadership, governance, and community development.
His notable contributions include facilitating training for Ethiopia’s national volunteerism project, initiated by the Prime Minister’s Office under the Ministry of Peace, where he trained over 2,500 university graduates on governance, active citizenship, social accountability, and prevention on gender-based violence. Additionally, he has coached young entrepreneurs in organic horticulture in partnership with Green Flower Foundation, a Swiss NGO.
Over the past 4 years at Lead Beyond, Sisbow has designed, delivered training initiatives for key organizations such as CRS, JEOP, Mercy Corps, FH, and EHRC. As Program Manager and SeniorTrainer, he has overseen the Learning Analytics Activity, where Lead Beyond was a sub-contractor to the $43 million, five-year USAID project, successfully leading the design, delivery and follow up of 40+ training events until its termination in February 2025. Just last month July, 2025, he had led the designing, facilitation and coaching for the MSIE Women in Leadership (WIL) program.
Holding academic qualifications in Masters degree in Social Work and Bachelor's of Law, Sisbow combines his expertise in leadership development and organizational transformation training and coaching with a deep passion for fostering individual and organizational transformation, continuous learning and driving social impact.
